The Give and Grow Community is open to anyone looking to make a positive difference, open to self-discovery and growth, and is seeking to be an active part of a supportive community.
- Whether you are an eager, emerging or established changemaker, Give and Grow will meet you where you are in your giving back and self-growth journey. We’ll provide you with an opportunity to connect with a community of like-hearted souls, uplevel your impact, and deepen your sense of self.
- As mentioned above, the optional add-on Impact Incubator program will support those looking for accountability, expertise, clarity, momentum and support in getting their give back project successfully started and running or taking a current one to the next level.
- We understand that there can be many things that hold us back from making the difference we aspire to make from our busy schedules, lack of knowledge or lack of belief in our ability to affect change. The Give and Grow Community and Impact Incubator are here to help you get past those barriers so you can make the difference in the world that you want to and create a better world.

Monthly Local Volunteering
and Social Opportunities
- Monthly local hands-on volunteer initiatives in the greater Toronto area for the community including social time before or after
- Once a quarter you’ll be welcome to bring your partners, children and friends to join us for our volunteering opportunity.
- Quarterly social events including dinners/hikes.
- Note: Virtual membership includes support to volunteer in your own local community.
Monthly Nourishing Connection
and Coaching Calls
- Monthly online calls to help you connect to the community and to yourself. These calls will focus on self-discovery, growth, how to best contribute our gifts, and sharing to keep you growing, inspired and connected with your fellow community members.
Changemaker Spotlight Sessions
- Inspiring and interactive interview sessions with leaders in the non-profit, charity and activism space. Learn about the personal changemaker journeys, lessons learned, and best practices of those creating sustainable impact in the world.
Force For Good Book Club
- Our Give and Grow book club will read and discuss books with a humanitarian theme for additional inspiration and education while exploring how we can best be of service to our world.
Immediate Impact
- Your membership will help others right away, a portion of your membership is donated directly to our partner charities. You'll be giving back by signing up.
Private WhatsApp Group
- A space for members to foster connection, support one another, and share resources and additional opportunities for giving back.

Meet Jill
Transformational Travel and Life Purpose Coach
I am the CEO of UGO Impact and also a Transformational Travel and Certified Life Purpose Coach. I have been a passionate humanitarian for as long as I can remember. Beyond working for a decade in the impact arena for grassroots and national non-profits, I have volunteered thousands of hours with over 30 organizations locally and internationally in a variety of roles from candy striper to Chair of the Board to volunteer coordinator to disaster relief support to strategic consulting and workshop facilitation. My volunteering has taken me to Uganda where I lived for a year and also the Philippines, Tanzania, Belize, Nepal, Costa Rico, Puerto Rico, Rwanda, Ecuador and into my own community of Toronto.
But giving back in a meaningful way that used my gifts and talents wasn’t always easy, and at times it was quite lonely which is why I started UGO Impact and am excited about creating this Give and Grow community and the Impact Incubator. I am truly happiest when I am confidently contributing my gifts and resources to communities in need, alongside amazing humans who feel the same passion and dedication about making this world a better place and I want to help others who feel the same.
I am the author of “Dare to be a Dandelion”, a volunteerism specialist, a disability sport consultant, and a community developer. I live by the words “Make it happen!” and am inspiring my child to do the same.
